About the Dad-a-base

I don't know if you can tell, but I enjoy a good dad joke. One of the first projects I put together in 2021 when I was learning frontend development with React was to build a project collecting dad jokes. I did this because I had a coworker who would find them online and read them to me, and I thought it would be a fun learning project to try and build a site for collecting them.

That site is long gone, mostly because I used MongoDB for the jokes and after a long time of not using it, they deleted my databases. But I have always wanted to take another attempt at it. And thus this site was born!
